Artist's Comments

This was drawn for my friend, Michael Dobson.

I met Mike at an anime convention. He is by far and away the biggest sweetheart I have ever met. At one time, he was pretty convinced that he could hook me up with one of the animation studios in Vancouver. Not only is he an actor, but a director as well. So he worked with studios regularly. While nothing panned out. It was so amazing to have someone in the industry believe in me like that. Along with Toshi, Mike is the only perons I have met as a "guest" that I have contact with outside of cons.

Mike has only voiced minor characters in Inuyasha, one of them one Jinenji. He offered to commision me for a Jinenji picture. I said I would gladly do one for free. *smiles* He was so tickled with the end product. Mike is my favorite voice actor and probably my favorite person I have met at a con.

This is absolutely gorgeous. I must ask, although you probably won't be able to get back to me, are Paul Dobson and Michael Dobson different people? Cause I've seen some sites that credit the same characters to each Dobson, so i wasn't sure if those were mistakes or I'm just silly. Irregardless, Juninji rocks, and I am jealous of you and your connections.

Very nice...

Just as a side note..It might be cool to have a picture of Jinenji's father sort of faded in with the moon...Like his father is still with him in a way...

I really like this one though. It's the only Jinenji fanart I've seen thus far on the internet and DA.

Michael, Paul, and Brain are all brothers that do voicework. Brain is much younger, and I haven't met Paul yet. *smiles*

I've never seen someone draw a pic of Jinenji before on DA. It's kool that you drew him. I like his personality. Good job on the pic! And it's so kool that you know Mike in real life. Congrats! Hope things work well for you in the future. You are one fanastic artist. :)

ah, thank you so much, that clears things up a bit. And please tell us when you do meet Paul, he voiced on of my favorite characters ever (Anubis/Shuten from Ronin Warriors).
